Sutil Bloom Institute

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to the most common questions about our courses, tools, and policies.

Which course should I start with?

If you are new to floristry, begin with Foundations of Floristry. It covers tools, conditioning, proportion, and a first hand-tied bouquet. If you already design casually, try Color Harmony or Foam-Free Centerpieces.

Do I need special tools?

You’ll need florist shears, a clean bucket, twine, and a work surface. For wedding and installation modules, we provide a list of reusable mechanics and safety tips.

How are live sessions scheduled?

Live sessions run on weekdays with two time slots to cover multiple time zones. Replays are available for self-paced review.

Is there a certificate?

Yes. Complete the required assignments and reflective journal to receive a Sutil Bloom Institute Certificate of Completion.

What is your refund policy?

Full refunds are available within 7 days of purchase if you have not joined a live session. After that, we offer partial credit toward other courses. See full terms for details.

How much time should I commit?

Most courses ask for 2–4 hours per week, including practice and reflection. Intensive tracks may require 5–6 hours during project weeks.

Do you cover business topics?

Yes. Our Business Basics for Florists module includes pricing, proposals, and gentle client communication templates.

Is the program accessible?

We provide captions for recorded demos and screen-reader friendly materials. Let us know your needs—we’ll try to accommodate within reason.
